There’s Something In The Hair
With prom and wedding season upon us, you might have wondered what the proverbial rule book says about wearing something in your hair. Guess what? There is no rule book. Go from foliage to feline and glitter to silk—with everything in between. Adorn yourself.
Skip boring and go straight to feline fun with a cat ear headband like Ariana Grande

She wore flowers in her hair! Always a perfect pick. Homegrown is a charming choice.
Remember that it doesn’t have to be a special event to decorate your tresses with ornaments. Fancy or festive, the order of business is fun. Get creative and DIY. The best accessory you can ever wear is a healthy head of hair.

Flowers Everywhere!
Tiny spring flowers are just beginning to appear as they usher in the new season. Big floral headpieces, on the other hand, have created a whole new season of their own. A-listers like Nicole Richie and Gwyneth Paltrow blaze the trail with a blazing hot topper.
“I always go for the more is more look,” Richie told Harper's BAZAAR in their current issue.
Wild accessories are nothing new (the likes of Lana Del Rey has been sporting flower crowns since 2012), yet this trend is fresh and alive, as master florist, Eric Buterbaugh, showcases his elegant creativity with his opulent style.
Whether you choose one flower or an entire garden, nothing signals spring quite like beautiful blossoms.

New York Fashion Week
Fashion Week in New York is coming to a close today, and there is more to report than just the new clothing designs. As dozens of designers unveiled their Spring 2014 collections, more than ever before attention to detail to the entire runway event was paramount.
This was strikingly evident in the breathtakingly (literally, a collective gasp was heard) stunning Spring 2014 fashion show by uber designer Prabal Gurung that I had the distict pleasure of seeing firsthard. He showcased his designs in a runway experience with perfumed air--yes, he personally attended to the custom scented ambiance--and so it was with the importance of the runway models’ hair in his overall design presentation. He wanted perfection, and top stylist Paul Hanlon for Osis delivered. "It's almost as if they've been sitting in formaldehyde and are stepping out to show their perfection just for a minute," he said.
Another Fashion Week hair trend was duly noted: flower hair accessories. From fresh flowers designed by Zac Posen himself for the elegant updos in his show to hair accessories seen on stars off the runway. Bella Thorne and Ariana Grande are just two of the celebs we've seen looking adorably chic with flowers in their hair this Fashion Week.
Hair is always a factor of great consideration with regard to complementing a fashion statement. In some cases the hair does steal the show as in this week's runway show for The Blonds. Amazing and fabulous as always, the aspect of the hair--more precisely massive space age hair balls atop super slick-backed style does not disappoint.
